Refund policy

Getting a custom board made is like getting a custom tattoo - sure, you have exact specs in your brain and our goal is to get the board as close as possible. However, the end result and sale (color, shape, etc.) is final. Just like a tattoo, there isn't a chance to go back and change colors once the board is glassed.  

One of the amazing benefits of getting a custom board shaped is that the board is made by someone with a specific style, who interprets your specs and vision, and who makes decisions based on their decades of experience in order to shape you the best board possible to fit your vision. Obviously our goal is to make sure you get the board of your dreams, but Bauer Surfboards is an owner-operated board shop and due to the costs of materials, cannot remake a custom board.

If you have a specific color in mind, please provide a color swatch once you have made the down payment so that we can ensure a proper color match to meet your needs. 

RETURN POLICIES

• IF your custom surfboard is truly not what you want, we ask that you pay for the materials to make another surfboard. This may range from $300-$500 depending on the size of the board.  
  
  
• Wetsuit/Fins/Gear Returns - 30 days, tags+receipt, unused
  
  
• Used/Stock Boards - all sales are final
